Mesquite Blooms, Mesquite Wood

$5,595.00

Mesquite wood, epoxy resin, polyurethane, N3 Nano (ceramic finish)

60” length, 38” width, 1-3/4” thickness

This top was made with mesquite wood sourced from Dale, Texas. Admire the rich, contrasting colors, and experience the buttery-smooth finish of a handmade, heirloom-quality piece of furniture as your fingers glide over the table surface.

Native to the southwestern United States and Mexico, mesquite trees are particularly common in Texas. The hardwood is beautifully figured, often with a wavy appearance from interlocking grain patterns. The color palette of the heartwood includes chocolate browns, caramels, and brick reds, while the outer sapwood colors range from light beige to lemon yellow. Some of us (me included) hold mesquite above other prized hardwoods like black walnut and cherry because of its beautifully complex grain patterns and rich colors.

This top can be used as a small dining table or a large desk. It is not connected to the base/legs in the photos. You can choose a custom metal, stock metal, or custom wood base. Alternatively, a base that rises and lowers can be added to create a standing desk. If you need a top with different dimensions, contact us today to commission a custom mesquite tabletop, desk, or bar top.
